Baked Scallops au Gratin

  • 2/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • The scallops are tasty mollusks contained in large, very showy shells. When I was little, I remember washing them after use and keeping them for other preparations (for example, I would place a lettuce leaf with dressed shrimp on top).

  • Start the preparation with the careful cleaning of the mollusks and shells under running water, then pat them dry with paper towels and place them on a baking tray.
