  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 12.3 oz ladyfingers
  • 3 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup strawberry jam
  • to taste sliced almonds
  • to taste milk

How to Make Yogurt Brick

  • Start by lining a 10-inch loaf pan with plastic wrap, then whip the cream with 2 tablespoons of sugar.

  • Next, add the yogurt to the cream and mix gently without deflating the mixture.

  • Take the lined pan and make a first layer of cream.

  • Continue by adding a layer of cookies soaked in milk. Follow with a second layer of cream to cover the cookies.

  • Add a layer of jam over the cream and continue with the second layer of soaked cookies. Finally, cover with the last layer of cream.

  • Place the dessert in the freezer for at least 5 hours. 

  • After the resting time in the freezer, turn the brick onto a serving plate.

  • Decorate with jam and almonds.

Storage and Tips for Yogurt Brick

The yogurt brick can be stored in the freezer for up to 3-4 days covered with plastic wrap. To best enjoy the dessert, take it out of the freezer 10-15 minutes before serving, and decorate it only just before serving.

    Absolutely yes! You can choose to use any jam or marmalade you prefer and add some almond crumbs.
