Today I’m introducing Uncle Bob’s rolls. These are veal rolls with prosciutto, sage, and cheese cooked in a pan with butter, a drop of oil (as he says), and milk. They are tender and very tasty! During cooking, the cheese melts and forms a delicious cream! You just have to try 😉

Ingredients
- 1 lb lb Veal slices (thin)
- 7 oz oz Prosciutto
- 5 oz oz Cheese (stretching curd)
- to taste Sage
- 5 tbsps tbsp Butter
- Olive oil
- Milk (half a glass)
Preparation
The preparation of Uncle Bob’s rolls is very simple. Lay out the thin veal slices and cover them with a slice of prosciutto, cheese, and a sage leaf. The amount of cheese is approximately half. You can use a stretching curd cheese like Galbanino or simply slices of processed cheese (in the absence of anything else, I have also tried these, and they turned out very good and tasty).
Roll up the slices of meat, securing them with a toothpick.
Proceed with cooking. Melt the butter in a pan, lay down the rolls and add a drop of oil. Brown the meat on both sides, adjust the salt, then pour in half a glass of milk. Let it cook for about 10 minutes with the lid closed, occasionally turning the meat.
Add a bit of pepper and continue cooking until a thick cream forms. Then turn off, let it rest for a minute, and serve, covering the rolls with the cream.
A tasty dish to lick your lips!!
Try them and let me know!!
