Steps
The preparation of the Christmas pinwheel sandwiches is very simple and quick, watch the video HERE.
Take the slices of white sandwich bread and cut squares of about 4.3 x 4.3 inches, staying slightly away from the edge.
With a knife, make four cuts starting from the corners towards the center, leaving the center intact. Gently twist the tips creating the pinwheel shape. Press slightly with your fingers at the center and sides to adhere well.
Place the pinwheels on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush them lightly with milk.
I fill them half with provolone and speck and
half with smoked salmon Put in the oven at 356°F for about 10/15 minutes.
Place the pinwheels on a serving plate, decorate as desired to give a Christmas touch and serve immediately, hot and gooey.
