Steps
The preparation of the Salmon and Zucchini Swirls: Tasty and Quick Recipe is very simple, watch the video HERE.
Grate the zucchini.
In a pan, sauté garlic and onion until golden brown, then add the zucchini and cook for about 10 minutes. Add spices to taste. Let it cool.
Unroll the puff pastry and evenly spread the salmon cream. Add the cheese, smoked salmon, and cooked and cooled zucchini.
Roll up the pastry on itself, wrap it in paper, and place it in the freezer for about an hour.
Remove from the freezer and cut the roll into slices. Arrange the swirls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them, and press them slightly.
Brush the swirls with a little milk and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.
Enjoy your meal!
Advice and Storage
Advice:
For extra flavor, you can add a bit of chopped chives or parsley to the filling.
Storage:
The swirls remain soft for 1-2 days at room temperature, stored in a closed container.
They can be frozen already cooked: just reheat them for a few minutes in the oven before serving.
They can also be frozen raw after slicing; cook them directly in the oven, increasing the baking time by a few minutes.
