Pasta and broccoli in the multicooker, another delicious recipe to add to my Italian Recipes with instant pot, easy to make and perfect for the winter season, where broccoli and cabbage are the stars of the produce stands!
You know my kitchen follows a low-glycemic diet and uses a lot of seasonal fruit and vegetables, so I always prefer to use seasonal products that cost less and are rich in vitamins.
With broccoli, we can make numerous recipes, including Microwave Broccoli, Broccoli au Gratin with Bacon and Cheese, Trio of Broccoli in Jar Cooking, but also the more classic Light Pasta with Broccoli that I decided to cook in my beloved multifunction pot.

How to Prepare Pasta and Broccoli in the Multicooker
Clean, peel, and remove the central core from the garlic cloves.
Put the two garlic cloves inside the multicooker along with the oil and the chopped dried chili pepper.
Sauté the garlic with chili for a minute, then add the speck cut into strips.
Sauté the ingredients for 2 minutes at 392°F.
When the garlic begins to brown, add the broccoli, cut into florets and washed.
Add the water to the multicooker and close with the “pressure cooker” lid. Cook for 5 minutes on pressure function.
Once the cooking time is up, depressurize the pot, then open the lid and add your whole wheat pasta. I chose penne with a cooking time of 10 minutes.
Salt to taste, then close the lid again and cook on pressure function for another 5 minutes.
Once ready, let it rest for 2 minutes, depressurize the pot, stir to combine, and serve the pasta and broccoli in the multicooker hot.
