  • to taste pepper
  • 10 red and yellow cherry tomatoes
  • 25 salted capers

  • to taste parsley

Tools to Prepare Delicious Smoked Salmon Crostini

  • 1 Cutting Board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Baking Tray
  • 1 Parchment Paper
  • 1 Brush

Steps to Prepare Delicious Smoked Salmon Crostini

  • Slice the bread and place it on the baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush with oil, add ground pepper to taste, and make it crispy under the grill for a few minutes, at the top of the oven. You can turn it over to make it crispier. Be careful not to burn it.

  • Once the bread is ready, fill with cream cheese, no need to add seasoning, but you can add finely chopped herbs, such as chives, wild fennel, or fresh mint, according to taste. I just added a little pepper sprinkled on top.

  • Slice the smoked salmon and add it with tongs. Then wash the capers, drain them, and distribute one per crostini. Do the same for the cherry tomatoes, cut them in half or into quarters depending on their size. Finally, a small parsley leaf or wild fennel. I wanted to add pistachios, as I thought before preparing them, but I forgot during the process; pistachios, walnuts, or hazelnuts go well with it.

  • The only ingredient missing is a little lemon juice, a couple of drops, on each salmon slice, per crostini, we gently squeeze it directly on the salmon. At this point, we are ready to serve our delicious crostini for the aperitif or Christmas appetizers, with smoked salmon and Philadelphia.
