Raw salmon tartare: safe preparation at home, follow my tips.
I don’t know if it happens to you too, but with these hot days cooking becomes really challenging.
In summer my desire to turn on the stove completely disappears, so for tonight’s dinner I chose a fresh, light alternative ready in 10 minutes: a raw salmon tartare with berries.
I served it with a simple salad and in a few minutes we had a healthy and tasty summer main dish on the table, perfect if you don’t feel like cooking but also if you have little time.
How to safely prepare salmon tartare at home?
My advice is to buy salmon specifically for raw consumption, easily found in supermarkets labeled “for sushi”, “for tartare” or “sashimi”.
If you want to know the brand I use, write in the comments: I’ll gladly respond! It’s not an ad, it’s simply the product that convinced me the most.
Alternatively, follow the Ministry of Health guidelines, which state that fish intended for raw consumption should be frozen at -4°F for at least 24 hours before serving, to eliminate any parasites such as Anisakis.
