Ingredients for the Light Apple Dessert without Flour
- 3 apples
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or 7 oz. Greek yogurt)
- 1.1 oz apricot jam (optional)
Tools
- 1 Baking Pan for plumcake
- 1 Mandolin Slicer
Steps
They call it invisible apple cake because it’s practically an apple dessert.
Wash, peel the apples, slice them thinly using a mandolin slicer.
Remember to drizzle them with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Beat the eggs and add the plant-based milk or alternatively Greek yogurt.
Add the apples to the mixture.
Pour into a greased and floured plumcake mold.
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 50/55 minutes, the plant-based milk will gradually absorb, if you use yogurt instead of milk, bake for 40 minutes.
You can also use an air fryer at a temperature of 329°F for about 50/55 minutes.
Let the cake cool and if you want to make it more delicious, brush the surface with apricot jam.
