MICROWAVE APPLE CRUMBLE here’s how to make an apple dessert cooked in the microwave in just a few minutes. If you’ve already tried the MICROWAVE APPLE CAKE or the MICROWAVE APPLE STRUDEL you already know that cooking DESSERTS IN THE MICROWAVE can be very satisfying and save time and electricity. This recipe is very similar to the AIR FRYER APPLE CRUMBLE, but instead of pastry, I used crumbled cookies, nuts, and that touch of cinnamon that always works well with apples.
In the ingredients list, you’ll find the light microwave apple dessert version, where I simply replaced the sugar and cookies with SUGAR-FREE alternatives.

Ingredients for Quick Apple Crumble
- 4 Golden Delicious apples
- 8 Digestive biscuits (or sugar-free Turkish-style biscuits)
- 2 tablespoons erythritol (or brown sugar)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.7 oz pine nuts
- 0.7 oz hazelnuts
- 0.7 oz raisins
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (or ghee or other nut butter)
Tools Needed for Microwave Crumble
- 1 Microwave with combined microwave + grill function
- 1 Baking dish ceramic or Pyrex
- 1 Blender
How to Make Apple Dessert in the Microwave
Soak the raisins in warm water. Place the biscuits and hazelnuts in the blender jar and pulse intermittently to create large crumbs. Place the butter in a small bowl and melt it for 30 seconds in the microwave.
Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut them into cubes, dropping them into the baking dish. Add the erythritol, cinnamon, pine nuts, and drained raisins. Mix and then incorporate the nut butter (or ghee). Finally, mix with the biscuits, reserving 2 tablespoons for the topping.
Now the apple crumble is ready to be microwaved for 15/16 minutes with the combined microwave and grill function. Choose the maximum combined power if available.
After cooking, let the crumble rest in the turned-off microwave for 5 minutes and then serve it warm or cold.
Sprinkle with the remaining biscuits
