  • Difficulty: Very easy
  • Cost: Very cheap
  • Rest time: 5 Minutes
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 20 Pieces
  • Cooking methods: No cooking
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: Autumn, Winter, Halloween

Ingredients

  • 20 Oreo Cookies
  • 2 tablespoons Cream Cheese
  • 5.3 oz White Chocolate
  • 1.4 oz Dark Chocolate
  • 40 Sugar Eyes

Tools

  • 1 Blender
  • 2 Small Bowls
  • 2 Piping Bags
  • 1 Plate
  • 1 Oval Plate

Steps

  • Let’s see how to prepare the truffles.

Take the Oreos and put them in the blender cup and finely blend them, then place them on a plate, add 2 tablespoons of cream cheese, and mix well, first with a spoon then mix well with your hands until you get a dough similar to shortcrust pastry. Take a bit of dough about half a tablespoon and work it between the palms of your hands to form a ball, continue with the entire dough, I got 20 balls, but it all depends on the amount used, there might be fewer or more.

  • Once you have prepared all the balls, melt the white chocolate in a small bowl using the microwave, then with 2 spoons or 2 forks, dip the balls in the melted chocolate and place them on a plate. Put the remaining chocolate in a piping bag and make horizontal lines over the truffle. At this point, place the sugar eyes by applying slight pressure so they stay attached. Let them cool for 5 minutes, in the meantime, melt the dark chocolate, do the same, put it in a piping bag, and form the mouth as you like. The truffles are ready to be enjoyed.

Notes

They won’t last long, but if they do, store in the fridge covered with plastic wrap for a maximum of 3 days.
