Classic Flavored Cream Ice Cream Without an Ice Cream Maker

Classic flavored cream ice cream is the most loved ice cream by both adults and children, perfect for a refreshing snack or a very delicious spoon dessert, and it’s easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups fresh heavy cream
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1 vanilla bean

Classic Flavored Cream Ice Cream Preparation

  • Let’s see how to prepare the ice cream.

    First, heat the milk together with the cream and the vanilla seeds, which you have removed from the bean, in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, in a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar. Once the milk reaches a boil, remove from the heat and pour over the beaten eggs, mixing well. Then put it back on the heat on low flame for 5 minutes until it thickens slightly. After that, transfer the obtained mixture into a suitable mold and place in the freezer for a night or at least 8 hours, then cut it into pieces and blend with a mixer, then put it back in the freezer for about 6 hours.

Cream ice cream is stored in the freezer in special containers. It is an excellent base for other recipes. You can add syruped cherries or strawberries, or you can serve the ice cream with a slice of your favorite dessert, such as panettone, colomba, classic cakes, and anything you love.
