Preparation of Summer Shrimp Cocktail Salad
Let’s see how to prepare the shrimp cocktail.
First of all, clean the shrimp by removing the shell and vein; you can also buy them pre-cleaned, steam them for 5 minutes, and once cooked, sprinkle with salt and pepper and let them cool before preparing the salad. Wash the lettuce and dry it well. Now prepare the cocktail sauce; in a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and brandy, mix everything well, and your cocktail sauce is ready. Wash the nectarines and slice them; they must be ripe but firm, otherwise, if they are not, you can grill them for a minute to soften them a bit. I prepared individual servings, but you can also prepare a large plate to serve. Take the dishes, place the lettuce (if the leaves are large, you can also cut them), take the sauce, and add the shrimp, leaving aside 2/3 per portion, and mix well. Arrange the sauce over the salad, forming a cylinder, then garnish with the sliced nectarines and the reserved shrimp alternately. Your appetizer is ready to serve.

notes
If there’s any leftover or you prepare it a little in advance, store it in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap for up to 24 hours. You can also serve it with a sprinkle of chopped parsley if you like.
