A truly original appetizer with sandwich bread, a real Christmas appetizer that combines bold flavors and delicacy.

The pinwheel presentation immediately impresses on the holiday table. The combination of flavors, the sea taste of tuna, and the intense saltiness of anchovies, all softened by the creaminess of the cheese, even conquers the most demanding palates.

The sandwich bread pinwheels can be prepared in advance and filled at the last minute, so you can enjoy the party without stress.

Perfect as a Christmas appetizer, this recipe with sandwich bread is an elegant but not pretentious Christmas appetizer.

  • Mix well

  • Add a sprinkling of sweet paprika, about half a teaspoon

  • and mix again.

Storage of Christmas pinwheels

The sandwich bread pinwheels should be stored in the refrigerator, well covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container. It is advisable to consume them within 1-2 days of preparation. Avoid leaving them at room temperature for too long and check smell and texture before serving.

It is better not to freeze them already filled, as the spreadable cheese may change texture.
