Fruit Popsicles Covered with Chocolate

In this scorching summer, do you want to eat ice cream without guilt?

Make it with my simple, quick, and colorful recipe, with only fresh fruit.

I didn’t add sugar, so it’s a really light recipe.

Fruit Popsicles Covered with Chocolate
  • Cost: Very cheap
  • Rest time: 5 Hours
  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 7
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients for Preparing the Popsicles

You can use the fruit you like best, in summer there’s plenty to choose from (peaches, melon, plums, watermelon, blueberries, etc.)

  • 5.3 oz cherries
  • 3 apricots
  • 1/3 cup milk (you can also use plant-based milk)
  • 2 containers plain yogurt (I used soy yogurt)
  • 1.8 oz chocolate (I had 100% at home but usually use 80%)

Steps to Obtain the Three Cherry Popsicles

Put the 150 grams of pitted cherries in a blender and add 40 ml of milk, blend, add one container of plain yogurt and mix.

Pour the mixture into the molds, if you want, you can also add some cherry pieces inside the mold, obviously without the pit.

Proceed the same way to prepare the three apricot popsicles. If you prefer a sweeter ice cream, add a teaspoon of sugar for each popsicle.

Leave in the freezer for 4/5 hours or overnight.

You can cover the popsicles with chocolate to make them more delicious, but I assure you they are very good even plain.

If so, it will be enough to melt some chocolate in a bain-marie or with the microwave, having 100% chocolate at home I added 10 grams of powdered sugar.

Dip the popsicles in chocolate and enjoy your summer!
