  • 1 puff pastry
  • 3.5 oz cooked ham
  • 4.2 oz string cheese
  • 3 potatoes
  • to taste fine salt
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.7 oz grated parmesan

  • 1 Peeler

Steps for Preparing the Savory Pie with Puff Pastry and Potatoes

To prepare the savory pie with puff pastry and potatoes WATCH THE VIDEO RECIPE

  • Peel the potatoes with a peeler and thinly slice them with a mandoline.

    Roll out the round puff pastry in a 30cm baking pan lined with parchment paper.

    Place the slices of cooked ham and string cheese, such as Galbanino or scamorza, on top.

    Cover entirely with the potato slices and season with fine salt and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

    A sprinkle of grated parmesan and off to static oven mode for 30 minutes at 356°F.

    Cook in air fryer at 329°F for about 25 minutes, until golden

Storage

Store the savory pie with puff pastry and potatoes at room temperature for 8 hours. Then in the fridge in an airtight container for two days. Before serving, heat in the oven at 338°F for 5-8 minutes or in the air fryer at 329°F for 4 minutes.

You can freeze it.
