Breaded and Fried Chicken Wings can be addictive, so I limit their consumption unless it’s a special occasion. In any case, when I decide to cook them, I don’t hold back and especially fry them in plenty of peanut oil. Even baked, they’re delicious, or crispy in the microwave… but fried, they’re truly exceptional. Even my clients love them and are sure to find them at the butcher shop every day. However, those who have time can prepare them at home by following my instructions.
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 4 people
- Cooking methods: Frying
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 10 Chicken Wings
- 3/4 Whole Eggs
- as needed Breadcrumbs
- as needed Salt
- as needed Peanut Oil
Tools
- Pot
- Slotted Spoon
- Plate
- Bowl
- Tray
- Paper Towels
- Scissors
- Knife
Preparation
First of all, organize your workspace with all the ingredients, but already measured.
It’s also important to have all the necessary tools at hand for the preparation.
With the help of scissors, cut at the joints of the wings, remove the tip, and divide them in half.
Remove the skin, but only the part that comes off easily, with a knife.
Pass the wings in the breadcrumbs and place them on a plate.
Beat the eggs, salt them, and dip a piece of wing into them, then toss it in the breadcrumbs.
Bread well, making as much breadcrumb as possible adhere, and place back on a plate.
Now heat the peanut oil, and as soon as it reaches the right temperature, fry all the wings you have prepared.
Drain them and place them on paper towels to absorb most of the oil.
Serve your Breaded and Fried Chicken Wings hot.
Tip: If you happen to prepare a buffet, you can prepare them in advance and serve them at room temperature.
Also, once breaded, you can freeze them.
