Ingredients

  • 2 rolls puff pastry
  • 8.8 oz sausage
  • 5.3 oz ricotta
  • 1 egg yolk
  • as needed sesame seeds
  • as needed poppy seeds
  • 1 pinch salt

Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Peel the sausage, crumble it with a fork, and place it in a small bowl. Add the ricotta, a pinch of salt, and mix.

  • Unroll the puff pastry rolls and stack them. With a knife, carve the shape of a bottle as shown in the picture.

    Place the first pastry on a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the sausage and ricotta filling, leaving half an inch of edge free.

    Cover the bottle with the second layer of pastry and seal the edges well with your hands.

    From the leftover pastry, cut out the label, cap, and decorative stars.

    Brush the surface with the beaten egg yolk and with the help of a knife, carve the inscription 2025 on the label.

    Fill the obtained groove with poppy seeds and sprinkle sesame seeds on the cap and stars.
