Puff Pastry Twists with Bacon

The puff pastry twists with bacon are super delicious and can be prepared in just a few minutes. Perfect for a last-minute aperitif, a buffet, or a tasty snack. You only need puff pastry and a pinch of creativity. The recipe is very similar to the twists with Philadelphia and bacon. How to make puff pastry twists with bacon

  • Unroll a sheet of puff pastry, then cover the entire surface with the grated cheese.

  • At this point, take another sheet of puff pastry and place it on top, sealing the edges well.

  • Using a sharp blade, cut into regular strips and then fold each piece in half.

  • At this point, wrap each strip with the bacon. Arrange them and bake in the oven at 350°F for about 12-15 minutes.

Storage and tips for puff pastry twists with bacon

They can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to two days. To flavor them, you can add spices like oregano and rosemary; for a Mediterranean touch, add a couple tablespoons of basil pesto or sun-dried tomatoes. If you don’t like bacon, you can replace it with thinly sliced speck.
