The memories of breakfast from the past when it took little to savor something good and completely genuine. The dunking cookies crispy and fragrant need no introduction because simple things never go out of style; these are our grandmothers’ recipes that create history and traditions, without sophisticated ingredients or artistic shapes, born from a humble kitchen without fancy creams or decorations, but all you need is a cup of milk or tea to unleash the poetry of your family. So, just try and taste them!!
- Difficulty: Very easy

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup potato starch
- 3/4 cup sugar + for decoration
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup peanut oil
- 2 eggs
- vanilla extract
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
Tools
- Stand Mixer
- Baking Tray
- Parchment Paper
Steps
In a container, add the eggs, sugar, vanilla extract,
milk, and oil.
Start mixing with a whisk.
Then mix the flour, potato starch, baking powder, and a pinch of salt together.
Gradually add to the eggs mixture
When you finish adding all the flour, the dough will be a bit soft, don’t worry, transfer it to a work surface and, with the help of some flour, form a dough ball.
Now that the dough is ready, you can proceed to cut the cookies.
Divide the dough into two or three parts and form a kind of log, about 1 inch wide, then gently press it down a bit.
At this point, cut pieces to your desired size; I cut pieces about 2.5 inches long.
When you finish cutting all the pieces, pass them one by one in sugar on all sides.
Line the baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the cookies leaving a bit of space between them. Bake at 340°F for 15 minutes in a preheated fan oven.
Your dunking cookies are ready!
Storage
You can store the dunking cookies in an airtight container for a week.
Variation
If you like, you can replace part of the flour with whole wheat flour or add chocolate chips or dried fruits.
