Pan-Fried Zucchini

Pan-fried zucchini: a super quick side dish cooked in just seven minutes. Zucchini lend themselves to countless recipes, and we almost always have them in the fridge. Although not always considered, using them with fish can create delicate and unique dishes, while with ground meat, they can stuff peppers and eggplants or make simple meatballs and much more. So, go ahead and try this very simple recipe.

Steps

  • Wash and trim the zucchini, then cut into cubes.

  • With the zucchini still in the container, add a drizzle of oil and mix well.

  • Set the zucchini aside and heat the pan over high heat (make sure to use a pan where the zucchini can adhere well to the bottom). Heat it until it’s quite hot, then add the zucchini, arranging and flattening them evenly. Cook over high heat for 2 minutes, then turn them a bit and continue for another couple of minutes.

  • After 5 minutes, turn them again, lower the heat, cover with a lid, and let them cook for another 2 minutes.

  • At the end of cooking, salt and serve.

Storage

You can store the zucchini for up to 3 days in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
