- Cooking methods: Oven, Stovetop
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 2/3 cup cake flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- vanilla extract
- 1 apple
- milk cream
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- powdered sugar
Tools
12 x 16-inch baking tray
- Baking Tray
- Parchment Paper
Steps
First, prepare the milk cream following the link, let it cool, and set it aside.
Now start preparing the biscuit dough by whipping the eggs with sugar for about 10 minutes, then with a spatula, add the flour a little at a time and the vanilla extract.
Meanwhile the mixture is rising, prepare the apples. Core the apple, peel it, and slice it into pieces about 1/8 inch thick.
Arrange them in a pan and add the brown sugar, caramelize over low heat for a few minutes until the apple wilts, then turn off the heat.
In the baking tray, lay out parchment paper and gently arrange the apple slices.
Then pour the mixture over the apples, leveling it well.
Place in a preheated fan oven at 320°F for 10 minutes.
When baking is complete, take it out of the oven, cover it with parchment paper, and flip it, carefully removing the parchment paper from the base during baking, then place another sheet of parchment paper over it, on the apple side, and flip again.
At this point, you can fill the roll with the cooled cream you had set aside, making sure to fill the side without apples.
After spreading the cream, roll it up gently, wrap it in parchment paper, and let it rest in the fridge for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, take the roll out of the fridge, trim the sides, and dust with powdered sugar.
The roll with milk cream and caramelized apple is ready to be enjoyed!!
