Procedure for Fried Yellow Squash
Preparing fried squash is really easy and quick. Any type of squash and any part of it can be used.
Remove the skin from the squash using a knife or a peeler and cut it into slices about a quarter-inch thick.
Garlic is not an essential ingredient for making this recipe, so if it is not to your liking, it can be omitted. Otherwise, cut it into small pieces and set aside.
In a bowl, place the eggs and beat them with a fork, while the flour goes on a plate.
Dip the squash slices first in the beaten egg and then in the flour, initially flouring only those that will be fried first.
Place a pan with the oil on the heat and let it warm up. Arrange the squash slices inside, without overlapping them.
Let them brown on one side, then turn them over and wait for them to brown on the other side. Before removing them from the oil, add salt, pepper, and garlic, if you have decided to use it.
Place the squash slices on a plate with paper towels to absorb excess oil, then proceed to fry the other slices.
When all the squash is cooked, gather it together in the pan and add the vinegar. Let it evaporate, turn off the heat and serve.
Enjoy your meal!
