Granola with Yogurt and Chocolate Sauce

Today I bring you a very indulgent but healthy and light breakfast: granola with yogurt and chocolate sauce. It’s delicious but requires some preparation in advance so you have the ingredients ready and can enjoy it in 5 minutes in the morning!

You start with homemade granola which is very easy to make, and then the chocolate sauce, which many of you know as the Dutch vla. You can make the granola in large quantities because it keeps for a long time. The chocolate sauce lasts up to 4 days.

Then put everything together and add soy yogurt, blueberries and banana and you’ll have a breakfast that keeps you full until lunch: guaranteed! Let’s prepare it…

  • All that’s left is to add the yogurt, the banana sliced, and the blueberries. Our granola with yogurt and chocolate sauce is ready.

  • Of course, if you want to omit the chocolate sauce you can, and this breakfast would then cost only 5 Weight Watchers points, but I recommend using it—the final flavor is divine; I guess it’s because I love chocolate!

As an alternative to the chocolate sauce you can also use homemade peanut butter or tahini; use 15 g (about 0.5 oz), which is 3 points and does not change the final points total.

I know you might think 8 points is a lot for breakfast, but I assure you that eating more in the morning is really helpful for losing weight. And if you also do sports, well, the best approach is always to eat more in the morning rather than ending up with many points to spend at dinner: be smart.

Try this breakfast and then let me know if you liked it…

    Enjoy!
