Without butter, I prepared it with seed oil, but you can easily replace the weight of the oil with that of butter. Ingredients for Vanilla and Chocolate Pound Cake
- 3 medium eggs
- 4 oz sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsps unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 oz vegetable oil
- 6.3 oz plain yogurt
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 0.5 cup milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Preparation
Break the eggs and beat them with the sugar for at least 5 minutes. Room temperature eggs whip better, so if you can, take them out of the fridge 10 minutes before using. While still beating, gradually add the vegetable oil.
Sift the flour and cornstarch and gently incorporate into the eggs, stirring with the milk.
Add the yogurt, vanilla, and salt, and work until you have a homogeneous mixture. Divide the mixture in half and incorporate the unsweetened cocoa powder into one part.
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Pour the white batter and then the dark one, making several layers. Stir gently to marble. Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for about 45 minutes, performing the toothpick test to check for doneness. Let it cool and serve with powdered sugar.

You can keep the pound cake for a few days under a glass dome.
