A base of crispy puff pastry, thinly sliced potatoes, cooked ham, and, the icing on the cake, that creamy touch of Gorgonzola that ties everything perfectly together. It’s a flavor explosion.
It’s perfect for being cut into little squares and served as an appetizer during an aperitif or a dinner with friends. Ingredients for the super easy savory pie
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 3.5 oz cooked ham
- 4.2 oz Gorgonzola
- 2 potatoes
Steps for the Super Easy Savory Pie
Unroll the puff pastry.
Soften the Gorgonzola using a fork to make it as creamy as possible, then spread and level it on the puff pastry base.
Place the cooked ham over the Gorgonzola.
Slice the raw potatoes into very thin slices and arrange them on top of the ham.
Fold the edges of the pastry inward.
Place the savory pie (with its parchment paper) on a baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 35 minutes or until the edges are nicely golden and the base is cooked.
Once cooked, let it cool completely and only then cut it into little squares.
