These rustic puff pastry triangles are the perfect solution when you crave something tasty without spending time. They can be filled as you wish: cheeses, cold cuts, grilled vegetables, or ready-made creams, and are cooked in the oven or air fryer in just a few minutes. These rustic triangles are versatile, visually appealing, and super tasty, perfect to serve hot right out of the oven.

Ingredients

  • 2 rolls puff pastry
  • 3.5 oz cream cheese
  • 3 slices cheddar
  • 3.5 oz Genoese pesto
  • 2.8 oz provolone
  • sesame seeds

Steps

  • Divide the puff pastry into 12 triangles.

  • Set aside 12 triangles to be used for the covering.

  • Fill 12 triangles with ready-made pesto and pieces of provolone, then pair them with the empty triangles, sealing the edges well.

  • Fill the other half of the triangles with cream cheese, like farmhouse cheese or a cheese spread as I did, and slices of cheddar.

  • Pair the remaining puff pastry pieces, seal the edges, and place the 12 triangles on the baking sheet.

  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 356°F for about 15 minutes or cook in an air fryer at 392°F for 10 minutes, turning halfway through.
