It’s an easy and quick recipe, ideal for those with little time but who still want a homemade treat. One last indulgent treat… then tomorrow, we start eating healthy again.

Ingredients

  • 2 rolls puff pastry
  • 2 tablespoons Nutella®
  • to taste sugar
  • 1 egg yolk

Tools

  • Knife
  • Brush
  • Small Bowl

Steps

  • Unroll two rolls of puff pastry and place them perfectly on top of each other on the parchment paper.

    Draw the shape of the Befana stocking on the pastry and cut both pastries together to get two identical shapes.

    Gently remove the top pastry.
    Spread the Nutella on the bottom pastry, leaving about 1/2 inch of border free.
    Add, if desired, sprinkles or chocolate chips.

    Take the second puff pastry stocking and place it over the filling.
    Seal the edges well with your fingers or a fork.

    Brush with beaten egg yolk and bake in a static oven at 356°F for 20–25 minutes, until golden.
