Mini Pizzas Like Those from the Bakery

How good are these mini pizzas? These mini pizzas are very much like those sold in bars and bakeries, they are soft, tall, and fluffy like a cloud. Perfect for a family dinner or with friends, ideal for buffets or appetizers. They are very easy to prepare, just respect the rising times. You can get creative with the toppings, they are good in every way. Come with me, let’s start cooking right away.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 4 tbsps butter
  • 2 tbsps granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • as needed Tomato sauce
  • as needed Pizza mozzarella

Steps

You can knead by hand or use a stand mixer.

  • In a bowl, pour the flour with the yeast, I always prefer to dissolve the yeast in a small glass with the milk.

Gradually add the milk, also add the sugar, pieces of butter and finally the salt.

Work all the ingredients well until you get a smooth dough; if you use the stand mixer, the dough will be ready when it sticks all around the hook.

Place the obtained dough in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for at least three hours.

  • After the rising time, place the dough on a floured surface and create a loaf and cut it in half. Make 16 dough balls of about 2.3/2.5 oz each.

Press each dough ball with your fingertips and make folds from the outside to the inside on all four sides, then form a ball, place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • After creating all the balls, press them with your fingers, cover with plastic wrap and let rise for another 30 minutes.

After the second rising time, put a spoon of previously seasoned tomato sauce on each mini pizza.

Bake at 356°F in a preheated static oven for 10 minutes, after this time add the chosen topping and mozzarella and bake for another 5 minutes.

Once out of the oven, the mini pizzas will be very soft (it might seem like the dough is raw, but it’s not, trust me), let them cool for a few minutes and then enjoy them with great satisfaction.

  • The mini pizzas are ready to be enjoyed.
