The cookies with corn flakes are perfect to start the day off right. They are wholesome, crispy, and very tasty because, in addition to corn flakes, I decided to add raisins to the dough, which you can completely omit or replace with chocolate chips.
These cookies are very easy to prepare, 5 minutes for the dough and 15 minutes for baking. Come with me and let’s start baking right away.

Ingredients
A little note, I recommend using quality raisins, otherwise, you’ll end up with dry and hard raisins that will ruin the cookie.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (I used type 1 flour)
- 1 egg
- 3.5 tbsp milk (Warm)
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 5 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 3 cups corn flakes
Steps
First, soak the raisins in cold water for 20 minutes, then squeeze well before adding to the dough. One of the crucial steps to prevent raisins from sinking is to rehydrate them before use. Soaking helps the raisins regain volume and softness, slightly reducing their weight.
In a bowl, pour the flour, baking powder, and powdered sugar, previously sifted. Mix and then add the egg, milk, and oil.
Mix all the ingredients, before forming the dough add the raisins and corn flakes and mix together, if necessary, add another two or three tablespoons of flour.
Once formed the dough, take small pieces of it, create balls, slightly flatten them and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 356°F (static oven preheated) for 15 minutes.
The cookies with corn flakes and raisins are ready to be enjoyed. I hope you liked this recipe, see you next time.
