Soft Cocoa and Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you are a fan of breakfast cookies, you’re in the right place. What’s better than the smell of cookies coming out of the oven? Especially on a cold day when it’s truly a pleasure to stand in front of the oven and bake cookies. These are cocoa cookies with chocolate chips, incredibly delicious and especially quick, you won’t even need to use a rolling pin. The dough is prepared in 5 minutes, you form a loaf directly with your hands, bake it, and then just cut the cookies once baked. Come with me, let’s start baking right away.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp chocolate chips

Steps

  • In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa, powdered sugar, and baking powder.

    Add the milk and oil.

    Also, add the egg and mix all the ingredients well. When the dough starts to come together, add the chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons of flour.

    Mix well, adding more flour if necessary.

    Place the dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and form a loaf 10 inches long and 3 inches wide.

    Bake in a preheated static oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes. Let the loaf cool almost completely, then use a knife or scraper to cut into cookies.

    The cookies are ready. If you want to make them slightly crispy on the outside, once you’ve cut the cookies, place them sideways on the baking tray and put them back in the oven for 5 minutes. The cookies will become crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
