Yogurt and Blueberry Jam Cake

Yogurt cake with blueberry jam. Today I present to you this very soft cake. A fluffy dessert that prepares in 5 minutes. Thanks to the yogurt added to the batter, this cake becomes incredibly delicious and super soft. I used blueberry jam to further enrich and make this cake even more delightful. Ingredients for the Yogurt and Jam Cake

I used type 1 flour, but you can use any flour you prefer. Just remember that each flour has different absorption properties. This batter should turn out very thick.

  • 2 cups flour (I used type 1 flour)
  • 1/4 cup milk (Warm)
  • 1 cup yogurt (Vanilla flavor)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp baking powder

Steps for the Yogurt and Blueberry Jam Cake

  • In a bowl, pour the sugar and yogurt, work with the help of a spatula or fork.

    Also pour in the oil, milk, flour and previously sifted baking powder, mix well all the ingredients.

    The batter will be very thick.

    Pour the contents into a mold lined with parchment paper of 9 inches in diameter and level well.

    Place on top of the batter, with the help of a spoon, the jam and then, using a fork, distribute it well. There is no need to press towards the bottom: during cooking it will descend by itself.

    Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for 35 minutes, always do the toothpick test; if it comes out dry, the cake is ready.
