Egg-Free Chocolate Salami

Today I present to you a delicious chocolate salami where adding eggs is not necessary. It is prepared in no time, you only need some plain cookies, spreadable cream, melted chocolate, and in my case, I added some pistachios because I really like the combination with the white chocolate spread that I used. If you don’t like white chocolate cream, you can use a hazelnut or pistachio cream. But now come with me, let’s start having fun.

Have a nice recipe, Giusi.

Ingredients

As I mentioned earlier, I used a white chocolate spread, but if you prefer, you can use a hazelnut cream.

  • 7 oz plain cookies
  • 1 cup Spreadable Cream (White chocolate)
  • 1.75 oz pistachios
  • 3.5 oz dark chocolate (Melted)

Steps

  • Melt the dark chocolate bar in a bain-marie or microwave.

Coarsely crush the cookies by hand or using a mixer and place them in a bowl with all the other ingredients.

Mix well using a spoon or spatula.

Spread the mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper and form it into a log shape to resemble a salami.

Shape for a few minutes, then compact well in the parchment paper, closing the ends like a candy.

Place in the fridge for 30 minutes or more.

After this time, take the egg-free chocolate salami and sprinkle it with powdered sugar.

  • The chocolate salami is ready to be enjoyed.

Storage and Tips

The chocolate salami is kept in the fridge.

Instead of dark chocolate, you can use milk or white chocolate.

The white chocolate cream can be replaced with hazelnut cream or pistachio cream.
