Ingredients

  • 1.1 lbs potatoes
  • 12 oz ground meat
  • as needed cabbage
  • 1.06 oz grated cheese
  • as needed parsley
  • as needed salt

Steps

  • Peel the potatoes, cut them, and boil them in salted boiling water for about 15 minutes from when it starts to boil.
    Drain them and mash them either with a fork or a potato masher.

  • In a pan, sauté the garlic with a bit of oil, add the ground meat and salt; let it cool.

  • Prepare the filling for the easy cabbage rolls by combining the potatoes, meat, grated cheese, salt, and parsley in a bowl.
    Mix all the ingredients well until you create a soft and homogeneous mixture.
    Clean the cabbage by removing the outer leaves and separating 9/10 leaves, trying to keep them intact.
    Blanch them for 5 minutes in salted boiling water, then drain and let them cool.

  • On a cutting board, place an open cabbage leaf and put a heaping tablespoon of filling in the center. Gently close the sides and then form the roll by turning it onto itself.

  • Place the cabbage rolls in an oiled baking dish sprinkled with grated cheese and breadcrumbs.
