- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Steps
With the help of electric beaters, beat the eggs for 5 minutes and then start to add the sugar gradually, beating for another 3 minutes.
Once we have obtained our fluffy and voluminous mixture, start adding the flour by working with a spatula from bottom to top.
Also add the unsweetened cocoa and baking powder, it’s important to work gently with a spatula or hand whisk from bottom to top.
Butter and flour or line a cake pan with parchment paper and pour in the creamy mixture obtained.
Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes. After this time, perform the toothpick test; if it comes out dry, it’s ready, otherwise extend the baking time by 5 minutes. Let the cocoa cake cool completely inside the pan.
Storage and Tips.
For successful preparation, it’s important that the eggs are at room temperature. If you store them in the fridge, just put them in a bowl with warm water for a few minutes.
