Ingredients for the creamy chocolate and banana cake

  • 2 bananas
  • 5.3 oz 75% dark chocolate

Tools

I used a 8 x 6 inch mold lined with parchment paper.

A baking dish or container will work just fine.

Steps for the creamy chocolate and banana cake

  • Blend the two bananas (very ripe!) in a mixer until you get a smooth and homogeneous puree.
Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave.
Once the chocolate is lukewarm, carefully mix it with the banana puree.

  • Once ready and well mixed, pour the mixture into the container (a mold, a cup, or a small oven-safe tray).

  • Level the mixture well inside the container.
You can decorate the surface with pistachio crumbs, almond crumbs, or whatever you prefer.

  • Once ready and decorated, place in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

No oven needed for this delight! I assure you that if you prepare it in the evening, like I did, and enjoy it for breakfast the next morning, it will be a true delight and an amazing energy boost!
It’s incredible how only two ingredients can offer a cake so creamy and satisfying.
I hope you liked this Creamy Chocolate and Banana Cake!
See you in the next recipe, A hug, Giusi.
