Puff Pastry Triangles Filled with Apples and Jam

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry (round, about 8 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon fig jam (or any jam of your choice)
  • 1 apple (about 5 oz)

Steps

  • Wash the apple, peel it, and cut it into fairly small cubes. Put them in a container; you can add a bit of lemon juice and sugar if you prefer. I left them natural.

  • Roll out the round puff pastry and spread the jam on one half.

  • Add the diced apple.

  • Fold the other half of the puff pastry over and seal the edge well with the tines of a fork.

  • Now cut the puff pastry into four slices.

  • Each slice should be cut into diamonds as shown below.

  • Finally, cut each diamond in half widthwise.

  • Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes.
