Befana Candy Cookies with Chocolate

The Befana cookies with chocolate are really good, light, and nutritious.
Suitable for younger children as they melt in the mouth, and are certainly healthier than store-bought snacks used to fill the classic “Befana stocking.”
Why did Befana use a stocking to put gifts for children? Have you ever wondered? Surely it’s all strange.
Today’s stockings are disposable, packaged, and made of transparent plastic that lets you see and anticipate the treats they contain, but in the past, real wool socks were used. 🙂
Children would wait and in the morning hope to find something good and not lumps of coal.
Prefer small cookies for the recipe, like those used for the first months, so they fit better in the stocking.
