Easy Vegan Double Chocolate Cake, with almond milk.
A super delicious chocolate cake, ideal for all chocolate lovers, almond milk gives it an incredible special flavor, light and healthy, it’s made with brown sugar and whole wheat flour (I use spelt einkorn).
It’s a light, moist, and very easy cake that really takes just 10 minutes to prepare (plus baking).

Ingredients for the Easy Vegan Double Chocolate Cake
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (I use muscovado)
- 1 1/4 cups almond milk (unsweetened)
- 2/3 cup olive oil (not extra virgin)
- 2/3 cup water
- 7 oz 70% dark chocolate (I use Novi)
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Preparation of the Easy Vegan Double Chocolate Cake
Take a bowl and mix the dry ingredients: whole wheat flour, cocoa (sifted), baking powder (sifted), brown sugar, salt.
Take another bowl and combine the liquids: almond milk, water, oil, vanilla extract.
Coarsely break the dark chocolate by hand.
In the bowl with the dry ingredients, slowly add the liquid ingredients and mix everything well with the electric whisk.
Finally, add the coarsely broken dark chocolate.
Take a greased and floured bundt cake pan and pour in the mixture.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 340°F, for about 45 minutes.
If you’re not lactose intolerant, you can serve the cake with whipped cream.

Make sure the dark chocolate is of good quality, if you want you can also use milk chocolate instead.
