Swiss chard stalks in a pan, a very simple and genuine side dish. They are boiled stalks and then sautéed in a pan with garlic, extra virgin olive oil, and chili pepper. For a quick light recipe, the stalks in the pan are the perfect dish, just like the baked au gratin stalks, you need only a few ingredients to make a healthy and tasty dish.
With the seasonal vegetables, all recipes have a different flavor. It takes very little and without adding many elements to make a good and appetizing side dish suitable for all occasions and Swiss chard stalks are among the quick side dish recipes to save.
Be careful, there are Swiss chard stalks and leafy Swiss chard, for this recipe you need the chard stalks, and if you’re lucky like me to pick and sauté them right away, take advantage of it; otherwise, I recommend trying them at the first opportunity because it’s worth it. Let me know!

Storage and Advice
Storage: keep them in the refrigerator for 2-3 days in a covered container.
I recommend reheating them with a drizzle of oil before enjoying again.
Advice: for an even tastier dish, add a few anchovy fillets.
