The spiced apple puff pastry triangles are delicate-tasting sweets that are easy to make. I made puff pastry triangles filled with apricot jam and spiced apples cooked in a pan with raisins. I then garnished the triangles with a powdered sugar glaze. These triangles are so tasty, one leads to another!

- Portions: 9 pieces
- Cooking methods: Oven
Ingredients
- 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
- 1 apple
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp sunflower oil
- 0.7 oz raisins
- as needed apricot jam
- 0.4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp water
Preparation
To make the puff pastry triangles, peel the apple, remove the core, and then dice it.
In a small saucepan, pour in the brown sugar and the juice of one lemon. Place over low heat and melt the sugar.
Add the oil and also pour in the apple cubes. Stir and continue cooking over low heat.
Flavor with cinnamon, add the raisins, and cook for about 10-20 minutes, until the juice has slightly thickened and the apples have reached the desired consistency (to taste).
Unroll the puff pastry and cut into 9 or 12 squares.
Fill each square with a teaspoon of apricot jam and a tablespoon of apples and raisins.
Close each square in the shape of a triangle: bring one corner of the puff pastry to the opposite corner and seal the edges well with the prongs of a fork.
Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for 10-15 minutes, or until golden. Once ready, remove from the oven and let cool.
Pour the powdered sugar into a small bowl and add the water. Mix to dissolve the sugar and blend until the sugar is completely dissolved and no lumps form.
If the glaze is too runny, add more powdered sugar, one tablespoon at a time; if too thick, add a little water. The glaze should have a viscous consistency.
Pour the glaze over the surface of the triangles, forming lines with the help of a spoon.
Let rest until the glaze sets. Enjoy!
