JAM SHELLS

JAM SHELLS, delicious desserts, easy and quick with shortcrust pastry, perfect for Carnival, fried or in an air fryer, crunchy and delicious.

I prepared these quick little pastries filled with jam perfect for Carnival: the jam shells are crunchy outside and soft inside, easy to make even at the last minute. The shortcrust pastry is ready in a few minutes, just roll it out, fill it with jam, and close them into half-moons.

They can be fried for the classic and tasty version, or in the air fryer for a lighter result. A little trick: brush the edges with a bit of egg white or plant-based milk and seal well, so the jam doesn’t leak out during cooking. You can use any type of jam: strawberry, apricot, cherry, or even a mixed jam.

The clever dessert for Carnival: quick, delicious, and easy, to make even at the last minute. A recipe to always have ready to impress without stress in the kitchen.
