  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 onion
  • 7 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 cups vegetable broth (or hot water)
  • 10.5 oz risoni
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Steps

Let’s start preparing

  • Let’s start preparing tomato pastina: chop the onion, carrot, celery and cook the sauté in a large pot with a little olive oil.

    Add the tomato sauce and let it flavor for a few minutes.

    At this point, add the pastina, cover with vegetable broth or hot water and cook, stirring the pasta as if it were risotto. Stir occasionally.

  • Cook for the time indicated on the package, and if necessary, add more broth or hot water. The tomato pastina is ready; serve it immediately.
