Blended Apple Cake – Tall and Fluffy

The blended apple cake is an amazing dessert! Without butter, genuine and fragrant

It is a classic pantry cake, very soft and tall. When the apples and orange peels are blended, their aroma fills the kitchen.

If you liked my apple cake with orange juice, then you’ll love this one! The batter is very simple, enriched with milk. Along with the peels, the apples are also blended, giving a moist and soft almost creamy texture.

Part of the apples is added in small pieces to the batter, creating that creamy effect that makes each slice irresistible

Steps

How to prepare the tall and soft apple cake with grandma’s tips and tricks

  • Beat the eggs: Beat the eggs with the sugar using an electric whisk or if you want with a stand mixer. A smart trick, beat them for at least 6/7 minutes until they are nice and fluffy, and your cake will be softer and airier.

Peel an apple, cut it into pieces, and blend it together with the milk and orange peels. I used a mixer but an immersion blender works just fine. Add the mixture to the bowl with the eggs and sugar and mix, add the oil and finally the sifted flour with the baking powder.

Peel another apple, cut it into pieces, and add it to the batter, stirring gently. Pour everything into the pan lined with parchment paper and now decorate with the other two apples. Slice them thinly and arrange them in a radial pattern on the cake.

Bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes but always adjust according to your oven and do the toothpick test. Once ready, dust with powdered sugar and then enjoy this wonder.

Laura’s Tips

For a successful cake, the eggs must be at room temperature. If you add chopped almonds, you’ll get an extraordinarily crunchy note!
