Breaded Cod Fillets

Breaded Cod Fillets are the perfect main course to prepare when you don’t have much time but still want to serve a tasty and flavorful dish. I usually use frozen cod fillets, take them out an hour before so they thaw, or defrost them in the microwave.

Ingredients

  • 21 oz cod fillets (frozen)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder (dehydrated)
  • 2 tsp chives
  • to taste fine salt
  • to taste olive oil

Steps

  • Beat the eggs with a pinch of fine salt in a dish.

  • Season the breadcrumbs with paprika, dehydrated garlic, and chives.

  • Dip the cod fillets first in the egg and then in the seasoned breadcrumbs.

  • Fry in a large pan with a bit of oil.

  • Turn them over once or twice, they’ll be ready once well golden.
