- Difficulty: Easy

- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 packet baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- as needed hazelnut cream
- as needed powdered sugar
Steps
Place the flour and sugar in a bowl, mix the ingredients.
Now add the cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda, mix everything with a spoon.
In another bowl, place the eggs, milk, and oil, mix with a whisk.
Now pour the dry ingredients into the bowl with the wet ingredients and mix with a whisk.
Incorporate the chocolate chips and mix the ingredients.
You will get a fluid and chocolaty mixture.
Butter and flour the muffin cups, fill them about halfway with the chocolate mixture, add a teaspoon of hazelnut cream.
Cover everything with a little more chocolate mixture. Do not overfill the cups, otherwise, the muffin will spill out during baking. You will get about 12 cups with a diameter of 1.77 inches and about 6 cups with a diameter of 2.36 inches.
Bake at 356°F (180°C) for about 20-25 minutes. I recommend always doing the toothpick test, if it comes out dry the muffins will be ready.
Dust the surface with a little powdered sugar. Now all that’s left is to enjoy them!
