- Cooking methods: Stovetop
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 30 zucchini flowers
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup rice flour
- 0.11 oz fresh yeast
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 0.85 cup beer
- 2 cups sunflower seed oil
Preparation
Prepare the batter by placing the all-purpose flour and rice flour in a bowl, mix them with a spoon, and add the fresh yeast in small pieces.
Add the cold beer from the fridge, start mixing, also add the fine salt, and whisk until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Put cold water and a pack of synthetic ice in a bowl, if you don’t have it, ice cubes will also work.
Place the bowl with the batter over the one with water and let it cool for a few minutes.
Pour the oil into a pan and heat it well. Pass the zucchini flowers in the batter and then dip them in the oil.
Cook the zucchini flowers until golden brown, turning them at least once.
Place on a plate covered with paper towels or special paper for frying and salt on the surface.
Enjoy your meal!
Tips/Advice
