Pan-roasted Chicken Thighs and Drumsticks are a delicious main course that can be made with just one ingredient and without turning on the oven.
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 4 servings
- Cooking methods: Stovetop
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs (and drumsticks for about 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg))
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- 6 pinches fine salt
Preparation
Place the chicken thighs and drumsticks skin-side down in the pan with the flame off.
Remove any remaining feathers from the meat if necessary.
Add rosemary sprigs.
Turn on the heat to medium, salt the meat on one side, and cook for about half an hour, browning the skin to make it crispier.
Now flip the thighs and drumsticks, salt the other side, and cook for another half an hour.
Serve hot, and if you like, you can add sauces.
Tips/Suggestions
Try to make the skin crispy; it will be much tastier.
Do not add oil; the chicken will release enough on its own.
