The Savory Pie with Emmenthal, Cauliflower, and Sausage can be considered a main dish, really tasty and that you can prepare in no time, ideal for a dinner if you don’t feel like cooking much, but still want a flavorful dish.

Ingredients
- 2 puff pastry (rectangular, 9.3 oz each)
- 4 slices emmenthal (3.5 oz)
- 14 oz cauliflower, cooked, boiled
- 10.5 oz sausage
- 3 pinches fine salt
- 2 tbsps olive oil
Preparation
Cut the blanched cauliflower into small florets, put them in a bowl and season with salt and oil.
Remove the skin from the sausage and break it into smaller pieces.
Line a rectangular baking dish measuring 12×9 inches with parchment paper, place the first puff pastry on top.
Cover it with cauliflower and raw sausage.
Place the chopped slices of emmenthal on top.
Cut the other puff pastry into strips about 0.4 inches wide and cover the savory pie creating a lattice.
Bake in the oven at 356°F for about 40 minutes.
Suggestions/Tips
To always have blanched cauliflower ready, I usually blanch them and then freeze them.
You can also use flavored sausage, for example with fennel, it will give your dish a more flavorful touch.
