Savory Pie with Ham and Cheese

When you have no time in the evening but want to prepare a tasty dish that children will also like, this Savory Pie with Ham and Cheese is ideal. You can use any cold cuts and cheese you prefer, and you’ll only need 3 ingredients. Try it with Bavarian Bayerland Emmenthal, the taste is guaranteed!

Ingredients

  • 1 Rectangular Puff Pastry, 8 oz
  • 5.3 oz Sliced Cooked Ham
  • 5.3 oz Sliced Emmentaler

Preparation

  • Roll out the puff pastry and place a layer of ham on the left half.

  • Add a layer of cheese on top.

    Then another layer of ham and finally the last layer of cheese.

  • Using a pizza cutter, make cuts on the right side of the puff pastry as decoration.

  • Fold the other half of the puff pastry over the filled half.

    Seal the edges with a pizza cutter and press the edges firmly using a fork.

    I used the leftover puff pastry for decoration.

  • Bake at 356°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes

Tips/Advice

Of course, you can choose any cold cuts and cheese you prefer.
